Training Women To Sit On Boards In Tanzania

This program is called Female Future. The training prepares women who wish to sit on boards of directors. It covers board competency, leadership, and rhetoric. Spread over 9 months but mostly done in groups with only 12 days of class in total. A transforming program indeed. Research by McKinsey, Africa Development Bank, UN et al, shows that diversity management pays. Adding a woman to the board of directors impacts several performance metrics!
