Women on boards

Diversity has been identified as a key organizational success factor in the face of increased environmental complexity. Though this has been known for some time, boards have remained an exclusive old boys’ club. But this is changing. Literature shows that adding one lady to a board improves results significantly. The challenge though has partly been the shortage of women with essential board competency skills in general and those that address the peculiar challenges women faces when they enter an arena hitherto dominated by men. This course imparts both board competences in general and special skills all women must have in order to excel in the boardroom.
